Part of maintaining high customer service standards is making sure that whenever possible we collect feedback from our customers so that we can find out what we're doing right and where we could use some improvement. You speak and we listen. Here are a few comments from our satisfied customers:

On Monday, September 20, 2021, your service technician Bobby visited my home at 249-11 Thornhill Avenue, Little Neck, NY, 11362 to perform the annual service check on my burner. I was called by Kaitlin from your office, earlier in the month to schedule this visit. I was also called on Friday, the week before the visit and given a reminder call from Kaitlin about the service. She left me a very nice message, and I called back later that Friday to confirm the Monday visit.

The call was set for between 12 and 4 pm. At apx. 12:02 PM, Bobby arrived and proceeded to go to work. His Shoes were covered so as not to bring dirt, etc, into my home. (A nice touch). I showed Bobby the boiler and tank In the basement and he went right to work. I offered some water of tea and Bobby indicated that he had just finished lunch. Bobby changed the filter at the tank, and checked the chimney for soot and blockage. He also did routine tune-up on the burner, adjusting the electrodes and checking all motors, burner and circulator.

Bobby was exceptionally professional, worked in a clean manner and left my system, better than when he arrived. It is a pleasure to be a customer of Approved Oil. Many thanks, and please extend these comments to Kaitlin and Bobby.


I am so happy that I made the switch from Petro to Approved!

  1. I pay less for my deliveries of oil than Petro. In fact, I haven't even bothered getting a budget plan. It's not necessary. My oil deliveries are less than Petro's monthly budget plans ever were!

  2. Today was the most important test.
    I had a problem with my boiler.

    I called and spoke with someone at 7:49am today.
    In less than 2 minutes, the call had been made and a service appointment scheduled between 2 to 4 hrs.
    No half hour wait on hold.

    He was at my door in less than 2 hours - 9:09am.
    He worked only on my problem.
    He wasn't getting phone calls from the office about his next job.

    He fixed it.
    I was able to get to work before noon.
    With Petro, I would have lost a full day.

Thank goodness I met with you last June and signed with Approved!

Approved Oil Company helped me avoid a complete disaster for my facility in January of 2018. As my long time provider was unable to deliver product and could only confirm a delivery days after I would run dry.

I was pointed in the direction of Approved Oil and Chris Fazio. After a brief phone discussion their truck was in route and my tank was filled.

As we were dealing with single digit temperatures the result of running dry would have been catastrophic for our operation.

Last evening about 5:30 pm I had some trouble with the boiler.

I called for service. The gentleman (Anthony T.) who answered was efficient and courteous, giving me a 2-4 hour window for the call. A repairman came, he too had those same qualities. He told me what to do to call first thing on Monday for someone to come out to fix the problem. This morning I called about 5:30 am. The dispatcher, a woman was helpful and kind and downright excellent.

Angela, who called me at about 6:10 was also on the ball. You have fine people working for your company. They are the ones who make Approved Oil successful. Please commend them and also thank them for me.

Good morning,

I hope this e-mail finds you well. Wanted to drop a quick note to you saying that my mom and I are happy with the service that we received last night.

I called in because the boiler stopped working last night. Sylvester and Joe D are excellent at what they do. Sylvester diagnosed the problem and Joe D did a great job with installing a new ignitor/spark thingie (don't know what it's called). He was clean and efficient. He put all his efforts in yet he completed his job effortlessly. Thanks for having talented people on board.

Thank you for setting up the replacement of our boiler. The crew that came were very fast, professional and wonderful all around. They did a fantastic job and in almost half the time we thought it would take. They left no mess - they cleaned up after themselves. Please make sure to let them know how great we thought they were.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the outstanding service provided to us during the recent mandatory gas interruptions.
